Metal Gear Solid 4 is finally here!

Depending on what part of the world you live, Metal Gear Solid 4 will either be in your hands waiting to be played, just about to be put on store shelves, or a few hours away from release, but regardless…. it’s finally here!

After a long, painful, agonising wait the biggest game in PS3 history, and one of the biggest releases since… well… the previous, Metal Gear Solid has finally touched down, ready for gamers the world over to play. No doubt many of us already have a copy of the title reserved, and the lucky few of us may even have had the chance to play it.

I’m lucky to be one of them, and I can tell you that fans of the series will not be disappointed with the end results. Newcomers may find themselves lost in the gigantic, labyrinthine plot, but there is a giant community of Metal Gear players out there to help you along the way.

So, what will you be doing today?

Have you already run out to pick up your copy?

Or will you rushing to get it tomorrow?

And if so, how has the experience been so far for you?

I'll be continuing with Act 3 and playing a little more MG Online myself.

Got to love pre-ordering.

Have to say we all need to get MGS4 and form a clan on MGO.

The Official MGO VGC Clan!

So far I am loving both games, MGS4 is like 2 in that it's dishing out the weird story line from the get go rather then waiting till the end like 3 did.
I've seen the fight between Raiden and Vamp and my god I want to be a cyborg ninja so badly!
MGO is wonderful and not to brag buy I am no doing badly either having scored 1st place on both a team deathmatch and a free for all.

MGS scares me. Like... Whenever you get discovered and that loud noise sounds, I jump out of my skin and then I completely fall to pieces and die. Add this to the fact that I completely have no nerve to actually go and sneak around, because I'm afraid of what I just mentioned. XD

I'm useless.

LOL @ Laylia. I used to be like that with the game until I actually learned how to play it properly.

It's a heart.

As in "love".

As in "I like your opinion" or "You said what I was thinking".

MGS has a confusing storyline. I think I might go back and enjoy the first 2 again to clear things up.

You'll want to play MGS3 as well, and Portable Ops as well, if you have a PSP.

There's a huge amount of stuff in that game which is very relevant to the plot of MGS4.
