In light of reports this morning by RPS concerning the development of a PC version of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, LucasArts has informed the press that there are no such plans for the title on the format.

"I can tell you definitively that there is no PC version of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed planned," said a rep.

Considering that LucasArts publically dissolved the development group working on The Force Unleashed shortly after its completion, this really isn't surprising.

Sucks for PC gamers, but most games have at least one console from the current generation hooked up to their TV. And if I remember correctly, The Force Unleashed will be unleashed (couldn't help myself) to most consoles currently being played today, handheld and stationary.

It's on every other console conceivable.

There's no reason that they need to put it on PC, honestly.

I agree with Laylia. Really, as much as a few PC gamers might miss it, it's not like anyone's lacking in opportunities to get it.
