So far news about Epic Games has been mainly about their ongoing suit with Silicon Knights and the Unreal Engine.

However now some good news is around the corner that one of the keynotes of this years GDC is the announcement that Gears of War 2 is real and will be out this November

Furthermore, Microsoft has affirmed that this is real and that the sequel will be an Xbox360 exclusive. Players will recall that the truly epic part of Epic Games' third person shooter was its close quarter multiplayer battles.

So far there has been no real news aside from the announcement and a stylized trailer but with only nine months to wait the news should be piling up like so many locusts.

By: Corrine On: 07:23 Feb 20th, 2008 Offline	I know a lot of people who are really into this game and will be overjoyed to see a sequel happen. Personally, I never bothered with the game and I cant say I'll bother with the sequel. Meeeehh. So many more interesting things to try out there, for me.
