Ubisoft have finally seen fit to release the first batch of real screenshots for the new Prince of Persia games.

Although we have seen most of these already in scans of magazine articles, these are the first high-definition, direct feed images that have been provided.

And boy are they nice!

I was thinking the same, but with my limited gaming expierence, if it were to look more realistic I would be heavily reminded of Assassin's Creed.

I want to see gameplay and how they managed to pull off this look.

I think rather than going for realism, and maybe having problems, they've gone for more cel shaded looks.

which, is in no way "cartoony" Not when it's this high a quality.

Calling it now, this game is going to own.

Great art design, while other 'realistic' looking games will start getting aged, cel shaded beauties like this one will still be as stylistic and pretty as ever.

Agreed, 100%
Just because the games graphics get better, doesnt mean we have to enter a realm of all realistic games.

Realistic GTA would just....not be fun, and get banhammered.

I LOVE the new art style, infact I'm not that big a fan of the series and this art direction is getting me hyped ^^

I personaly think that Cel Shading is kinda like the Wii, lots of potention, but no-ones really taken advantage of it yet.

It looks like they've done whatever they can do make the game as less like Assassin's Creed as possible. I must say the level of detail is pretty high, and I was impressed by the screenshots when I viewed them up close. It's cool to see a franchise get shaken up and mixed around a bit, which helps keep it fresh.
