Pleasant news gamers. Street Fighter IV producer Yoshinori Ono has told the press that, out of a recent vote of popular Street Fighter characters that gamers wanted to see in Street Fighter IV, Cammy has come out on tops, and is set to appear exclusively on the console versions of Street Fighter IV when it hits the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 early next year.

"As you know, we allowed people to vote on which character they most wanted to see in the console version, and Cammy won, so she's definitely in the game," he said

"We have a rough version of her already up and running. Akuma came in second or third, and we've already included him in the arcade game."

Isn't she the one with the blonde braid and the hat? I think that's who I remember. I always thought she was pretty cool. I think this is the sort of "fanservice" I can actually appreciate. It's not like the developers caved in after mass online petitions (*chuckles*) but rather followed what they promised to do initially--that is to add a character who was picked by the fans. <3

I agree. It's always nice when devs listen to what the consumer wants.

And yes, Cammy is rather cool. ^_^
