Famed Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu recently published a list of their highest scored games of the year.

What's interesting is the abundance of Xbox 360 titles appearing on the list, despite the lack of support for the machine in Japan.

It's at least encouraging to see quality being championed over popularity.

Nice list of games. Not played them all and I'm not a fan of others, but a decent list overall.

How can they do this? It's the same basic game! It's only on two different consoles.

Despite what people think, Famitsu is a firm supporter of the 360, it is mostly the Japanese gamers that are kind've... what is the word? Enigmatic, is the best word for it. Many of the games deserved to be on this list but FFIV has not come out in Japan on the DS already?!

...Of last year right?
Because it's..March at the moment...

Nice list of games though, It stuns me to see a lot of 360 games, maybe the small amount of people who buy the consoles, buy a lot of the games.
