European WiiWare line-up confirmed

Written By Dragonfly 68 days ago
News Category: Gaming News
WiiWare is a Nintendo provided service that allows developers to develop original games and software for sale and download on the Wii. An official list of launch titles for the European WiiWare service has finally been released.

Titles can be downloaded using the same Wii Points used to download other Wii products from the shopping channel and Virtual Console.

Highlights amongst the launch titles include a new Dr. Mario game, a mini-instalment of the Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles series, and the rather unique LostWinds, which all gamers should consider checking out for it's delightful charm alone.

WiiWare launched yesterday in the US, and will launch on May 20th in Europe, and can be installed for free from the Shopping Channel.

* Dr. Mario & Germ Buster (Nintendo) - 1000 Wii Points
* Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King (Square Enix) - 1500 Wii Points
* LostWinds (Frontier) - 1000 Wii Points
* Star Soldier R (Hudson) - 800 Wii Points
* TV Show King (Gameloft) - 1000 Wii Points
* Pop (Nnooo) - 700 Wii Points
