At the end of the day, that's what every true fan cares about; whether Bill Murray will be attached the project. Ghostbusters actor Ernie Hudson was on hand to discuss the progress of the game.
Speaking to videogaming247, Ernie Hudson - the actor who played Winston Zeddmore in the original Ghostbusters movie - discussed the upcoming game’s script, and his thoughts on the project.
"You know, I read the script, and it’s a really good script," he said. "It's huge. It covers every possibility. A regular film script is 120 pages, this thing’s 480 pages, or something."
Dan Akroyd and Harold Ramis, the talents behind the original film script, were at the helm to write the script content for the new game. Akroyd himself has been quoted as officially confirming that Ghostbusters: The Video Game is, for all intents and purposes, Ghostbusters 3, and will be considered a canonical part of the franchise.
Could this get any better? Yes it could.
"All the characters are back, including Bill Murray, which I was surprised at, because Bill tends to not do these things," he said. "If you look at his movies, I think the only time he ever did a sequel was with Ghostbusters. And it took five years to get him to do that."
If all that doesn't get you excited, you need a serious jolt of crossed proton pack streams up your derrière!
Ghostbusters: The Video Game currently has a release date of September 26, 2008, and will see release in multiple forms on PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, and Nintendo DS.

I could piss myself right now. Ghostbusters without Bill Murray would just
be pointless. Add to that Ramis and Akroyd writing...this is gonna be awesome! |

That worries me as when I see a game adaptation of a movie series on multiple platforms that differ so much then I am sing a generic piece of crap like every other one that has ever been made. |
