Easton hints at future expansion for the new Prince of Persia franchise

In an exclusive interview with videogaming247, the Prince of Persia community development manager Chris "UbiRazz" Easton has hinted at the possibility that the upcoming nex-gen Prince of Persia may lead to a wider expansion of games beyond just a trilogy of titles.

"This game is a whole story on its own and players are going to live through a complete adventure," he said when questioned whether we’d see this new Prince appear in future titles.

"That said the story may lend itself to something more..."

Of course, expect the success of the title to determine just how far the franchise will expand in its newest iteration, as has always been the way of the video game industry.

Prince of Persia will be released on PC, 360 and PS3 at the end of this year.

Sounds interesting, I should play the originals before I play the new one.
Possibly.
Maybe.
