Capcom's been hard at work lately. Along with Street Fighter IV hitting the arcades, Basara X getting a console release and Resident Evil 5 getting retooled for co-operative play, Famitsu reports that a new crossover fighting game is in the works.
In the tradition of Marvel vs Capcom, Capcom has picked a fight with another influential studio, this one is Tatsunoko. Tatsunoko is one of older anime studios in Japan spouting such titles as Super Dimensional Fortress Macross, Gatchaman, Casshern and co-producing Neon Genesis Evangelion.
So far, there's only been 4 confirmed characters, Ryu and Chun-Li representing Capcom and Ken Washio from Gatchaman and Casshern himself representing Tatsunoko. No release date or overseas plans have been announced.

No offense to Capcom, but this is digging the bottom of the barrel for Capcom.
Although their name seems to be second in the list, so that probably means it's an outside development job.
Not expecting much out of this. |

I would not say that Words, because considering they pulled it off with Marvel and I would say this is a unique choice. Then again, a good number of people could probably get something similar from M.U.G.E.N. and not even have to wait. However, a good bet is, it will not be released here just based on what it has to work with. |
