According to VG247 Blizzard co-founder Frank Pearce has discussed the company's considerations for a possible forth instalment of the real-time-strategy Warcraft titles.

Warcraft 4. Try to read that and not hyperventilate!

"If there’s a team that's passionate about doing another WarCraft RTS, then that's definitely something we would consider," he said.

Don't expecting it any time soon though; the company is more than a little busy right now, what with developing next World of Warcraft expansion pack "Wrath of the Lich King", Starcraft 2, and Diablo III.

"It’s nothing that we're working on right now," Pearce unfortunately stated. "We have development teams working on Wrath of the Lich King, StarCraft II, Diablo III, and when those teams are all off the projects they’re working on, they’ll be intimately involved in the the discussions about what’s next."

Next? Warcraft IV, please!

By: SwitchxA On: 03:30 Sep 10th, 2008 Offline	While it's great to experience Warcraft up close and personal with WoW, I still love the RTS games more. The epic story telling felt much more intimate. I really hope they work on War4 next. sparks interest to start playing war3 again

I really enjoyed the games and I'm glad they're going to continue with them. And yes, they already do have a bit on their plate. Can't wait for Diablo III!
