A welcome announcement for fans of both the DS, and the Age of Empires series. Age of Empires: Mythologies is being released on the DS. However, no release date or age rating has been released as of this time.

Mythologies is based upon the game engine of the DS' previous AoE game: The Age of Kings. Featuring 3 playable civilisations with individual campaigns - the Egyptians, Greeks and the Norse - Mythologies lets you command mighty heroes, control legendary beasts and call upon the powers of the gods. What kind of powers you're allowed to have at your disposal is yet to be revealed.

THQ, the developer of Mythologies, also promises an immersive multiplayer experience with unique maps, customizable rules, a new skirmish mode and single-cart game sharing.

By: Snake Plissken On: 12:44 Jun 4th, 2008 Offline	Excellent I love playing AoK on DS, considering it's turned based and so small scale it still has a great deal of skill and requires tactics. If you try just plodding along expect to get wiped out quickly against harder enemies.
