After a week Sony has made the 2.41 firmware update available. This is a fixed version on the last patch with no real big changes. Anyone with a PS3 can and should go download this new update and experience these newly implemented features as Sony originally intended.

This goes out to all my fellow 360-ers who are looking for the best HD deal you will probably see. Despite the fact that HD-DVD will be "no more" shortly, there are still some great titles out on the format currently (The Matrix Trilogy, The Bourne Ultimatum, etc.). The deal is the current price-cut on the external HD-DVD drive!

Sony is close to finishing development of their PS3 addon; PlayTV, which allows users to watch and record digital tv. The addon is a small black box which connects to a USB port on the machine. It has an aerial port in (and a pass through port) to pick up digital terrestrial signals.
