Nintendo working on solving Wii's storage limitations

According to a recent GI story, Nintendo of Europe marketing boss Laurent Fischer has confirmed that a solution to the Wii's clearly apparent storage limitations is on its way... but it won't be in the form of a hard drive.

Bugger.

"We definitely detect that they [gamers] are serious and we know there is an issue in this, so it’s something that we're working on," he said.

"Definitely there's no plan to issue hardware, an external hard drive, but we know that we have an issue in that area," he added. "It's very obvious and we're perfectly aware of it, but there’s nothing we can say beyond this."

If it's not going to be hardware, what the hell could it be?

The last thing I heard was that Nintendo said that only "GEEKS" would want more storage.

But Im glad they're actually thinking abut it, in whatever random form they want.

i really hope they do something about this... cause having to copy titles back and forth from my SD card is a PITA, i wanted to play star fox 64 but i dont want to spend 20 mins copying it back onto the harddrive, while replacing a different game on the harddrive
