In a move many had hoped for but few expected, Bioshock is heading for the PlayStation 3. If any move has ever been more denied or danced around, I don't know of it. Even the game's designer, Ken Lavine, once vehemently denied that his pride and joy would ever grace the PS3.
My how times have changed. In the upcoming issue of Electronic Gaming Monthly magazine, the move is not only confirmed, but the first screens of the game (not that they're likely to be different than anything we've already seen) will be made public.
Details surrounding the game's Sony iteration are few, but rumors are that this version will sport some graphical upgrades and tweaks. PS3 fans will be able to get their plasmid on during the 2008 holiday season.

*sigh* Is there nothing thats exclusive anymore.
I dont mind it, really, but they're gonna overcharge for it.
It's not a game that I'll buy a PS3 for, because well, most people including me have already played it, completeted it, and replayed it. |

IF, and I know that's a big damned IF, they have exclusive content for the PS3
release, I might actually trade in my 360 copy for it. One can never get too much Bioshock. |
