Acting on a tip from Michael, I found out that for today only (as far as I can tell), Microsoft, Activision, and Red Octane have released the Halo 3 Mjolnir Mix (as played at the beginning of Microsoft's E3 conference) as a free downloadable track for Guitar Hero III.

Whether it was done out of the goodness of their hearts, or as a move to get all of the people who fuss about the cost of track packs to shut up is debatable. What isn't debatable is that the track is loads of fun to play.

That said, I decided to film myself jamming on it, and present it to all of you for your amusment.

*warning - it gets a little rough at the end, as I momentarily forgot which position my hand was in on the buttons. If you play the GH series, you know what I'm talking about*

My sister really wants me to get her Guitar Hero, but I wouldn't be anywhere near good enough to play this on it Having you know... never picked it up in my life.
