Remember when the Wii came out?

It had a game called Wii Music.

It never seemed to come out.

Now. It is.

Wii music, was desgined with the other Wii games, Wii Fit, Play, and Sports, back in the days of release.

Miyamoto says he wants to let everyone feel the joy of playing an instrument, without having to press buttons in the right timing, place etc.

You just hold the Wii mote in the right way, and go right on ahead, and play.

There will be 50 different instruments when it releases. The Violin, Piano, Sax, Drums, guitar and more, even some random Japanese instruments too!

The drums even use the Wii Fit board, so you can even attempt to learn the drums.

It will record videos of your preformances, and you can create your own unique music video. Miyamoto proved this, by attempting to play the Mario theme tune.

No release as of yet, we'll keep you informed.

I watched the demo of this game from the E3 press conference, and I could not stop smiling from the moment Miyamoto (I.E. GOD among gamers) game out from behind a curtain playing a Wiimote as a saxophone.

The musical performance of the Super Mario theme was pure win.

This looks enjoyable ^__^

I would want to play the drums though, and I'd rather not buy Wii Fit...

The game probably comes bundled with the board, if it's something you'd really need. If not, you can probably buy it separately.

Yeah, but as I don't have a Wii, and have a very small income I can't really afford it. Not a problem for a lot of people, but it is for myself.

Most of Nintendo's game give you multiple control options. Unless its integral to the product (such as Wii Fit), they'll likely be an alternative, like pressing a button on the controller. I can't see them packing the entire balance board just for that one small part of the game.

Wii Music was definately the most enjoyable part of the entire E3 experience. You could tell that Miyamato, Reggie and the rest were genuinely having fun with it.

Who cares if it's not "hardcore"? People need to shut up whining and just enjoy some games for the simple purpose of having some fun.

I am so going to buy this game.

My mom's getting Wii Fit, so there's no issue with the drum simulator. :)

Agreed. There's simply no better reason to buy a game than for the pure fun factor. Of course, this'll make it even harder for me to decide what I'll I get for a system, Ish. xD

Rock Band was Guitar Hero for people who actually like to play games. This Wii music is rock band for those who've never touched games. It's a natural evolution, I expected to see it sooner.
