Square Enix has confirmed to us this afternoon that Final Fantasy XIII will be appearing at this year's anual E3 event

"There’s going to be more things happening for XIII at E3," said a rep. "That’s all I can say at the moment. And throughout the year there's more things planned as well, which should shed more light on the release timings."

The news comes in the wake of news that FF Versus XIII had been put on hold to assist in the development of FFXIII, a rumour which has since been proven was proven to be false, so fans need not worry.

Here's hoping they'll actually show something concrete from the game this time; it seems to have been in development since forever, with little to actually show for it.

By: Dragonsoul On: 10:03 Jun 19th, 2008 Offline	Glad to hear we'll learn more of FFXIII though I think it would have been funny if they could have managed to release it this past Friday the thirteenth. :P Okay, okay, that was lame. Anyways, why are they in development hell anyways? They got a huge team of developers and they're having good success elsewhere....is it that they've got a few too many projects going on at once?
