News Category: E3 2008 News
Relevant Consoles: : Nintendo DS : PlayStation 3 : PlayStation Portable : Wii
Through this year's E3, we will keep you updated with a daily calendar of the events to look forward on that today. Today, the Nintendo and Sony press conferences, as well as conferences from Ubisoft and Capcom.

We will also keep this post updated with links to relevant news from today's event.

All times are in PST.

Tuesday, July 15

* 9.00am - Show floor opens

* 9.00am - Nintendo press conference

Starting at at 9:00 PST (5.00pm GMT), the Nintendo conference will be fronted by Satoru Iwata, Shigeru Miyamoto, Reggie Fils-Aime, Cammie Dunaway and Denise Kaigler. We can only guess at what is going to be unveiled.

* 11.30am - Sony press conference

Now this. This is going to be interesting. After the shock announcement of yesterday that Final Fantasy XIII is no longer PS3 exclusive and is coming to Xbox 360, people are hoping from something as equally epic from Sony. Here's hoping.

* 2.30pm - Ubisoft press conference
* 4.30pm - Capcom press conference

Sucks that IGN's feed only works in IE/FF. >.>

Nintendo's will be interesting, to see more about that MotionPlus add-on, as well as the rumors behind Punch-Out Wii and that "Project Deluge" codename that's been passed around (some say it's Retro's new project, and /v/ on 4Chan's been rumoring that's it's a Zelda spin-off-ish title that takes place before WW's world's flooding, with a non-Link character). And of course, to Nintendo admit that Kid Icarus Wii is being developed.

Now, for Sony...what will they have/do to one-up Microsoft...this will be an very interesting day.

I'll definitely be seeing the Nintendo press conference, Nintendo fanboy that I am. I'm looking forward to seeing what they can come up with, and if they can best what they did last year.

I may not be able to grab all the news cause I'm up in the city, so if you can, try to throw something up. Evren will be too, so colaborate with her if you want so you don't end up repeating stuff.
