The E3 Expo in Santa Monica, California this afternoon was greeted by Nintendo's newest installments in the highly praised Smash Bros. and Mario game series. The newest additions; Smash Bros. Brawl and Mario Galaxy have been developed closely with the Nintendo Wii's Contoller capabilities. Players are said to be able to use the Wii Remote and Nunchuk to interact with each of the games environments.

Many of the Smash Bros. series fans may have still been feeling rather stale after Nintendo’s failure to deliver Smash Bros. Brawl on the desired early 2007 date. But news of its new confirmed launch date; December 3rd has surely neutralised any hard feelings. The new installment will feature new industry icons such as Pit from Kid Icarus and Solid Snake with his extremely stealthy cardboard box.
The classic video game characters from the 1999 Original Super Smash Bros. are also welcomed back, trading in their original platform the N64 for Nintendo’s newest console, the Wii.
Mario Galaxy’s announcement has surely signaled Nintendo’s intent to carry on the pace they have set so far in the 7th generation game console race. Since Nintendo’s launch in November 2006, the monthly sales numbers of the console have been higher than its competitors across the globe. Nintendo pivots its success to optimising production costs to obtain a significant profit margin with each Wii unit sold. Microsoft and Sony however have experienced losses producing their consoles, due to their hopes of making a long-term profit.
Mario Galaxy, also announced is Nintendo’s latest adrenaline rush. The game’s release date has been confirmed for the earlier date; November 12th. The series’ new stage as the title hints is the galaxy, so be expecting to see the plumber jumping through black holes and spinning on planets. But whether Mario‘s two new titles can reach the stars is anyone’s guess, but it’s sure to attract the former fans of its series.

This is going to make Nintendo fans really, really happy.
People have been screaming out for Ninteno to get their core titles out there, and they kept getting pushed backed, and pushed back, and pushed back.
By Super Smash Brothers Brawl and Mario Galaxy before Christmas? Considering that I'm getting a Wii for Christmas, the timing couldn't be better! |

I'm sure it's cheaper than going to the gym several times a week. ;D And deflecting digital footballs is decidedly kinder on your forehead. |

I can't wait for SSMB to come out. I'm a pretty big Wario fan, so I'll most likely be using his fart attack as much as possible. >D |
