E3 2007: Microsoft unveil new Halo 3 trailer

This would turn out to be an interesting look into what is otherwise just a simple sequel to a well established franchise.

A live action short film, director by Neil Blomkamp, the would-be director of the indefininately delayed Halo movies, shows a USNC weapons factory assembly line where the inconic Halo warthogs about being constructed, and Halo marines suited up in the series trademark armour.

As the live action trailer ends, Moore whips out a little surprised, a limited edition green and gold Xbox 360, themed after Halo 3, which is set to go on release the same day as the game; 25h September!

As the show reaches it's end (and my fingers begin to fall off), the big one is finally revealed, a completely new Halo 3 trailer. Earth is covered in flames as Terence Stamp voices the narrative over some tense actions scenes. New enemies are show; brutes in armour and flying grunts, and Master Chief is rather casually hip-shooting a Gatling gun.

What a guy, huh?

Eh. I don't know. Watching the Halo 3 trailer, nothing really stood out to me. Just sort of a "Oh, another Halo, hrm." I mean, i'm sure it'll sale like crazy to the masses, but that trailer just wasn't my favorite, lol.
